Meet our friendly and dedicated team. They try their best to speak to everyone in the courts. If you would like to have a chat, look out for them or anyone wearing a yellow lanyard.

Latif

Development and Training Coordinator

Latif is our Training and Development coordinator, he is usually around the waiting areas in both Magistrates and the Combined Court Centre. Latif loves meeting new people and travelling to sunny destinations – his favourite place so far is Egypt!

Kirsty

Kirsty

Team Leader

Kirsty is our team leader and is usually based in our office, at the Magistrates Court. Kirsty is an animal lover, her border collie dog is called Ziggy and her cat is called Chewbacca! She also loves to try new food and eating delicacies from different countries.

Volunteers

Our Volunteer Support Workers (VSWs) have all experienced difficulties in life. They are here to help and not judge you. They choose to come into court, to help people that are in need, however they can.

Meet some of the VSW team:

Sameer

Sameer is a Manchester City fan and a Criminology graduate. He is a very active person who likes to go to the gym and playing football – he can talk about food all day!

Jaspinder

Jaspinder has 2 adopted cats called Milo and Bruno and is a law student in her 2nd year. Jaspinder is learning to drive and is looking forward to future adventures.

Mick

Mick is a Chaplain for the Salvation Army, who loves travel and adventure in his spare time. He likes to get to know people and helping them to get the help they need, whenever they need it.

Farhat

Farhat loves ice cream, happy books and hiking. She has also just started her own faith coaching service after being a university chaplain for 9 years. A keen activist and enjoys trying to find ways to bring the community together.
