Meet our friendly and dedicated team. They try their best to speak to everyone in the courts. If you would like to have a chat, look out for them or anyone wearing a yellow lanyard.
Staff Team
Latif
Development and Training Coordinator
Latif is our Development and Training Coordinator, he is usually around the waiting areas in both Magistrates and the Combined Court Centre. Latif loves meeting new people and travelling to sunny destinations – his favourite place so far is Egypt!
Farhat
Development and Training Worker
Farhat is our Development and Training Worker, she is usually around the waiting areas in both Magistrates and the Combined Court Centre. Farhat enjoys getting to know people, reading, walking, baking and making a difference.
Kirsty
Team Leader
Kirsty is our team leader and is usually based in our office, at the Magistrates Court. Kirsty is an animal lover, her dog is a border collie called Ziggy. She loves to try new food, coffee and going to the spa!
Volunteers
Our Volunteer Support Workers (VSWs) have all experienced difficulties in life. They are here to help and not judge you. They choose to come into court, to help people that are in need, however they can.
Meet some of the VSW team:
Steve
Steve has been a volunteer support worker for us for many years. He likes to help others and is very active in the community. He also volunteers for Witness Support.
David
David is a volunteer support worker and can be found in the main waiting areas in court. He enjoys holidays and cycling. David spends his time helping people as much as he can.
Mariyam
Mariyam is a volunteer support worker and can be found in the main waiting areas in court. She loves to spend time with her family and getting to know new people.
Jess
Jess volunteers in our office. She likes camping, the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She loves penguin biscuits and pizza Tuesdays.
